(ARA) - Every May and June, thousands of young people march across the stage to accept their diplomas and begin the rest of their lives. But as they embark on this journey called life, many will carry a big burden with them.

Like many other people his age, Marc Schaffer will soon be off to college. The 2007 Lebanon High School graduate will leave Thursday for Temple University in Philadelphia, where he will study athletic training. Classes begin Aug. 27.
